| Protect lives of people of Rajouri by resolving live wire issue: NPP | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Sept 4: Jammu and Kashmir District President Mushtaq Ahmed Chowdhary reiterated the voice against live wire (High Tension) of 400 KV that has been passed from Uri to Jalandhar.
He said that the 400 KV High Tension Wire that has been effected village Badhoon residents by tower no. 215, 216, 217 and 218. Two lines have been fitted there by the company NRSS - XXXI (Star Light/Tata Company) without caring for people's safety. Before it company NRSS - XXXI (Star Light/Tata Company) committed not to have any kind of disturbance as it fitted the wire away from residential areas .But residents of this village showed resentment against company for their callousness and fraud.
He also said that due to this, the people cannot able to live safely here and cannot able to enter their fields. Maize crops too have been dried due to this live wire. Due to vibration and sound of live wire, one cannot able to sleep well in their homes. The residents of this area approached worthy DC, ACR on this issue to take cognizance and resolve this matter in the interest of general public but failed. Even people have been beaten by police that has been brought up by company in Badhoon village to start work forcefully without taking the proper guidelines.
Therefore, he warned District administration to take necessary action in the interest of public, Otherwise Panthers Party will start movement against the injustice done by Rajouri administration in entire State by launching Dharnas at all districts. |
