Kishtwar, Sept 4: Kishtwar Police today claimed to have arrested a wanted terrorist/OGW namely Touseef Ahmed Gundna S/O Ghulam Nabi Gundna R/O Near Jamia Masjid Kishtwar, wanted in case FIR No. 182/2018 U/S 120-B/121/121-A/RPC 7/27 I.A Act, 4/5 Exp Act 3/13/ULA of Police Station Kishtwar.
As per the police, ever since, the case was registered on 1st July-2018 and two accused belonging to HM outfit were arrested and a terror plan was thwarted the case, the case was withheld for want of his arrest.
As per a police statement a police party headed by Manoj Kumar Dy. SP DAR under the supervision of SSP Rajinder Gupta arrested Touseef. Pertinent to mention here that Touseef was also involved in the case FIR No 41/2017 U/S 7/25 Arms Act, 3/5 EXP Act of P/S Parimpora, Srinagar.
Police said that the accused is hardcore motivator of youth who encourages them for joining militancy and terrorist activities and is a close associate of HM terrorist Mohammad Amin @ Jehangir. Touseef was also in contact with another terrorist Latti in 2017. Touseef according to police had held meeting with Jehangir and was a conduit for transferring money to the wife of Jehangir. |
