Learning temple schools bring laurels

kathua, Sept 3: UCMAS J&K students of Learning Temple school Kathua brought laurels for the State at 17th National Level UCMAS Abacus competition, 2018.
A team of 36 Students from Learning Temple school Kathua UCMAS ABACUS J&K region participated in 17th National Level UCMAS Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Competition, 2018 which was held at Eka Club, Ahmadabad Gujrat.
In this competition 7000 UCMAS Abacus students participated from 25 states of India.2397 UCMAS Students from all over India also participated & attempted to create a Guinness World Record by creating Largest Human Abacus at Ahmadabad.
Student who were selected for this 17th UCMAS National competition have undergone intensive practice & training at Kathua Centre & other Ucmas centres of the region. They were provided practice sheets containing 200 sums every day & given target to solve 200 sums within 8 minutes time frame with at most accuracy.
UCMAS J&K students who stood 4th & 5th at Nationals are from Kathua: Mayank Verma & Akash Jasmotra respectively & Merit List students are: Rakshandha Jamwal, Sourav Bhagat & Suneeti Sharma.
UCMAS students from district Kathua who are participating in different Level at Nationals are: Badal Jasmotra ,Urvi, Bhargavi ,Divyansh Majotra, Pankaj Singh, Rakshanda, Sourav, Akash, Mantisha & Suneeti.
