| DPS Jammu shines in Yoga, Chess competitions | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 7: Students of DPS Jammu brought laurels to the school and their parents by winning gold and silver medals in Inter-District Yoga and Chess Competitions organized by District Youth Services and Sports held at Youth Hostel, Nagrota from 30-31 Aug. 2018. The winners of Yoga Competition were Lachiya Angral (VIII-E) Gold Medal, Iva Bharti (VII-A) Gold Medal, Mohd. Hamza Reyaz (IX-I) Silver Medal and Ritvik Sharma (VII-K) won Silver Medals. In Chess Competition, Bhoomi Thaper (X-B) & Superb Jain (X-G) clinched first place in U-19 girls & U-17 boys' category respectively in Inter-District Chess Tournament. Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners and their teacher incharges. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also lauded the entire team. President, RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Director, S.S Sodhi conveyed their best wishes to the winners and their parents. |
