JAMMU, Sept 7: The 3-day historic Sankri Devta mela today commenced in Meer block Pancheri of district Udhampur, where thousands of people attired in traditional and colourful dresses thronged the mela site to offer prayers and seek blessings of their revered deity for overall peace and prosperity.
Member Legislative Assembly, Chenani Dina Nath Bhagat was the chief guest who formally inaugurated the mela. |
