Jammu, Sept 7: Department of Civil Engineering (YCET) held an extension lecture on the topic, "Water resources at a Glance" for the students of 5thsem, Civil Engineering by B.L Rawal, Retired Executive Engineer, PWD(R&B).
During the lecture, B.L Rawal highlighted the significance of the Resources of Water and discussed the role of a civil engineers in safeguarding our water resources.
He stressed upon the development of water resources in view of our future needs .His lecture threw light on the modern ways of Waste water management. He talked about the different types of Canals, Dams& Catchment areas.
Shahzad Khan(Lect. ,Civil Engg.) took the opportunity to thank the guests & present on the occasion were Dr. Arvind Dewangan (Director),Er B R Verma (Chief Coordinator), HODs of other Departments & faculty members. |
