24 hours hunger strike of ReT teachers commenced

Jammu, Sept 10: 24 Hours Hunger Strike of JK RET Teachers Forum started today at District headquarters of Jammu division in favour of implementation of 7th Pay Commission to more than 41000 Teachers working under SSA. In District Udhampur, Sr Vice Chairman of Forum Bhupinder Singh, Provincial Chief coordinator Pritam Dhimaan, District President Udhampur Kuldeep Katoach, District Vice President Varinder Sharma, District General Secretary Kuldeep Singh, Zonal President Ramnagar Ravikant Sharma, Zonal President Dudu Charn Dass, Zonal President chenani Surjeet Singh, Manmohan Singh, Sudesh kumar, Varinder Partap, Arjun Singh, Ifrad Jamil and Vikas Sharma are on 24 hours hunger Strike. While talking with Media Persons, Sr Vice Chairman Bhupinder Singh appealed His Excellency of Governor to personally intervene in the matter of 7th pay commission and implement as early as possible otherwise Hunger strike will continue till the implementation of 7th pay commission. Singh appealed the teachers of their cadre to not sit in homes and participate in Hunger strikes for your own cause. Simliarly same Hunger strikes held at other districts of Jammu division.
