JKReTTF starts hunger strike in favor of their demands

RAMBAN, Sept 10: Seeking implementation of 7th Pay Commission on Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-E-Taleem, Teachers Forum (JKRETTF) unit Ramban sit on hunger strike for 6 six in front of Chief Education Office (CEO) , here today.
The hunger strike as well as the protest dharna was begun in which hundreds of ReT Teachers from across the district Ramban participated.
The protesters are demanding immediate implementation of 7th Pay Commission in favour of SSA /RMSA Teachers besides de-linking of SSA salary from MHRD and linking it with the State budget.
Provincial president of the forum Aftab Malik said that various Teachers' organizations, including J and K Teachers Forum, J& K ReT Teachers Forum, Tehreek -e-Rahbar-e-Taleem Forum, J&K SSA Forum etc, fresh batch of volunteers began their fast.
He said that this hunger strike was against the step-motherly attitude of state government as well as district administration.
He further said that this strike is in the connection with non-implementation of the 7th pay commission besides de-linking of SSA salary adding that these are the two main issues till 16 of September.
He further said that if our demands will not fulfill we will go for mass strike on September 17.
The teacher community is serving in every section for the government be in aadhar card, election duty besides other such duties and this is our right so we will go upto any extend if the government will not fulfill our demands at earliest.
