Sikh organizations hold meeting, call for unity among community

JAMMU, Sept 10: A meeting was called by the various Sikh organizations of J&K under the banner of Sikh United Front J&K at Gurdwara Singh Sabha Guru Nanak Nagar Jammu under the chairmanship of Sudershan Singh Wazir, Chairman Sikh United Front J&K. The Sikh organization who called the meeting of Sikh Sangat including Shiromani Akali Dal AISSF, Sikh Welfare Society, All Sikh Naujwan Sabha, Bhai Kanahaya Nishkam Sewa Society, Members of DGPC Jammu and Gurdwara Local Committee. The meeting was called to bring unity among the Sikh Community in J&K including in the field of religion and political affairs. The participants in the meeting took serious note of the working of Akali Dal Badal in Punjab and interfering in the religious issues of Sikh Community and blamed Akali Dal Badal for the incidents of desecration of Guru Granth Sahib during its regime. All the Sikh organizations adopted a resolution to came at one platform to raise the issues related to the community matters and if not solved a strong agitation be started in J&K.
