BHADERWAH, Sept 10: A group of 35 students of Govt. Degree College Ramban participated in Youth Festival "SANGAM-2018" at Bhaderwah Campus University of Jammu held from September 5 to 9. Students (Boys & Girls) participated in various events i.e. Badminton, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis, Volley Ball, Quiz competition, Debate, Carom, Chess, Rangoli, Face Painting, Painting, Clay Modeling, Basket Ball, Running (100m, 200m, 4 Marathon, Shot-put, Javelin, Discuss etc.
The College got first position in Flock Dance, Badminton (Women), Shot-put (Women) and Second position Chess (Women), Kho-Kho (Women), Chess (Men), Javelin (Women), Relay Race 4 (Men), Group Song & Clay Modeling.
32 Degree Colleges across the state and three University of Jammu off-site campuses participated in the Youth Festival. Govt. Degree College Ramban was ranked 5th amongst participating colleges and University Campuses. The Group was accompanied by Dr. Javed Iqbal Shah Convener of Sports and Cultural Activities and Assistant PTI, Amjid Rayaz. Youth Festival was organized by 4 RR and Bhaderwah Campus University of Jammu. |
