| People of Lower Badhota panchayat hold protest against RDD | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Sept 13: A large number of people from Lower Badhota are up in arms against Rural Development Department (RDD) Udhampur, alleging that during delimitation of panchayats, the RDD has delimitated their panchayat Badhota into two parts. They said that as per the order of Director RDD notified vide notification no 5402/CEO/pyt/2017/1742 Dated 22/03/2017 correction in the name of Panchayats can be made and the proposed correction was placed in public domain but the concerned employees didn't do as per order. People alleged that the concerned village level employees and officers in order to keep some politicians in good humour ignored the poor public
They said that despite submission of memorandums to officials of the concerned block and district for three-four times, no attention was paid to their demands.
Expressing their anger against RDD, the villagers said, previous district ACD and BDO were responsible for not to fulfill the public demands despite repeated pleas in district headquarter and block headquarter. |
