Rajouri, Sept 13: District Administration in anti-encroachment drive have retrieved 107 Kanals of forest and state land in a village in Manjakot tehsil today.
The encroachment drive was carried out on the directions from M.A Asad, District Development Commissioner (DDC) and was carried out under the supervision of Tehsildar , Manjakot, a first class Magistrate.
District Spokesman said the encroached land was situated in Khasra No. 332 and mi Nos. 448 & 530/1 in Kakora village.
A team comprising of 30 policemen, and officials from the Forest and Revenue departments headed by Tehsildar, carried out the anti-encroachment drive.
Tehsildar, Sheraz Ahmed informed that such more drives in the future can't be ruled out at other places in Manajkot tehsil. |
