| Poshan Maah celebrations: Debate, Quiz competition held | | |  Early Times Report
REASI, Sept 13: In order to broaden awareness at grass root level, various public outreach initiatives for Poshan Abhiyaan in Mahore are being taken by CDPO Mahore Anjum Ganai. To eradicate malnutrition a broad based strategy needs to be adopted of which one is awareness programme by mobilizing pubic support and by organizing community based events and the other is holistic interventions.
On the sidelines of Poshan Maah celebrations being celebrated Ganai today organized a Debate/ Quiz Competition in Mountaineer Convent Public School Mahore to give further momentum to the awareness campaign with the aim of reaching every household with the message of nutrition, Health, hygiene and sanitation.
The students from various classes had prepared well for the debate and participated actively in the debate competition and highlighted child malnutrition and its ramifications among the participants.
On the occasion Ganai said that it is essential, to spread the awareness among school children about Nutrition, Health, Hygiene and sanitation, as children are the future of our country. |
