| Director Estates reviews renovations works at Civil Secretariat | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 13: Director Estates, Tariq Hussain Ganai reviewed ongoing repairing and renovations works at Civil Secretariat here today during a meeting.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Director Estates Jammu, Alyas Khan, Executive Engineer, Estates Jammu, M R Sharma and other officers of the department. The meeting was informed that the arrangements for upcoming Durbar Move are in full swing.
He directed the officials to give aesthetic look to the offices and the surroundings of Civil Secretariat. He advised his staff to monitor the uninterrupted supply of power and water besides availability of other basic amenities in Secretariat.
The Director was informed that face-lifting and other necessary renovation works have been carried out in various blocks of Secretariat and Assembly complexes besides necessary repairs of government accommodation is going on with full swing and will be completed well before the deadline. Meanwhile, he also directed officers the Department to expedite process for eviction of unauthorized occupations.
After meeting, the director also inspected all the cabins and offices of the Ministers and other officials to take stock of the renovation works, Ganai also interacted with labour engaged for the works. |
