Jammu, Sept 13: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Jammu has organised Inter Zonal District Level Competitions of District Jammu in the Sports discipline of Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball and Wrestling U/19 yrs Boys and Girls at the High School Jammu Cantt and MA Stadium Jammu
In overall 500 Boys & Girls across from 14 zones of Jammu District are taking part in the Competitions.
The competitions are being organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports under the patronage of Dr. Saleem-Ur-Rehman, Director General, YSS and under the overall supervision of Madan Lal, Joint Director YSS Jammu. While, DYSS officer Jammu Chanchal Kour, was the organising Secretary of the above said competitions.
Addressing the participants, Chanchal Kour encouraged the participants by saying that winning and losing is a part of the game but it is participation which matter most.
Later on she wished the participants all the best for the said competitions. The main objective of the competitions is to select the teams/player for the next level of competitions. |
