19 bovines rescued in Rajouri | | | Early Times Report rajouri, Sept 13: Police has rescued nineteen bovines from the clutches of six smugglers in two separate incidents at different places in Rajouri district. Police spokesman said that a police team of Narla Bambal post headed by Head Constable Ghulam Rasool under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Khaliq Hussain was on routine patrolling in the village area when they saw some people smuggling bovines who were intercepted and eleven bovines were rescued from their possession. "Both the smugglers Naseem Mohd and Mohd Yousad (brothers) resident of Keri Bhela were also arrested", said spokesman adding that they have been booked in a case under FIR 93/2018 under section 188 of RPC of Police Station Dharamsal. Another team headed by SHO Nowshera Romal Singh was on routine patrolling in the area when they intercepted four smugglers smuggling eight bovines. All the bovines were rescued and smugglers arrested from the spot. In this regard a case under FIR 189/2018 under section 188 of RPC has also been registered in Nowshera police station. Additional SP Nowshera, Master Popsy supervised both these cases. |
