| 2 held with 300 litres kerosene oil | | | Early Times Report
udhampur, Sept 18: Police today claimed to have recovered 300 litres of Kerosene oil meant for black marketing at Roundomail and arrested two persons in this connection
Police spokesman said that based on reliable information, police parties of Udhampur police station and police post Roundomail led by Inspector Sanjeev Chib-SHO Udhampur assisted by SI Jaswinder Singh in-charge police post Roun under supervision of Zahid Saif Wani, DySP Hqrs. Udhampur raised laid surprise naka near Roun for checking of vehicles.
"During checking, police parties intercepted one alto car bearing registration number JK14A-8234 and while checking of said vehicle, 300 litres of kerosene oil has been recovered", said spokesman adding that the accused driver of the vehicle was identified as Bali Ram of Kuperla alongwith Sanjay Kumar of Battal Ballian arrested on spot and vehicle was seized.
In this connection, a case under FIR No. 479/18 U/S 3/7 Essential Commodity Act registered at Police Station Udhampur and further investigation of the case is going on. |
