Symposium on Gandhian Philosophy organised

R.S Pura, Sept 18: NSS Unit of Government Degree College R.S. Pura under the supervision of Dr. Namita Singh, NSS Programme officer under the guidance of Principal Prof. Kalpana Kesar organized an intra college symposium on "Gandhian Philosophy" and Slogan writing contest depicting thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi during the Second day celebration of commemoration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. A total of 30 NSS volunteers of the college participated in the event.
Proceeding of the programme was initiated by Dr. Namita Singh, NSS Programme Officer. Principal Prof. Kalpana Kesar in her speech encouraged the volunteers to express their thoughts on "Gandhian Philosophy" and persuaded them to follow the principles of Gandhi Ji in their life.
Dr. Ranjodh Singh, Dr. Rajni Bala were the judges for the event. Sakshi Kumari, Robin Verma, Muskan Choudhary spoke for the motion while Sourav Sharma, Ekta Choudhary and Sahil Spoke against the motion. Muskan Choudhary, Robin Verma and Sourav Sharma were declared 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners. In the event of Slogan writing competition, 10 teams comprising of 3 students each participated and Sanchit Kaswalia and team was adjudged as the 1st, Sourav & team bagged 2nd prize and Gulnaz & team emerged as 3rd winner.
