JKGB conducts 81st 'Swachhta Hi Seva'

Jammu, Sept 19: In order to mark the participation in 4th anniversary of Swachh Bharat Mission, Financial Inclusion and Insurance Department of J&K Grameen Bank under the chairmanship of Janak Raj Angural and in collaboration with NABARD has conducted 81st 'Swachhata Hi Seva' programmes across the state in various villages of the districts including Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch, Kathua, Samba, Bandipora, Baramulla, Leh, Kargil and Kupwara.
Janak Raj Angural, Chairman J&K Grameen Bank expressed his appreciation towards the staff who is conducting the campaign with great zeal and enthusiasm in order to make the GOI mission a great success. He assured that J&K Grameen bank will contribute to its maximum possible extend to spread the awareness regarding sanitation and hygiene and to make the environment clean and green. Romesh Vaid, General Manager J&K Grameen Bank said that Environmental cleanliness begins with each individual desire to be clean so emphasized to entire workforce of the bank to actively join the cleanliness mission. He added that our 81 branches and offices have conducted camps in last three days and today 25 branches and offices have conducted the Swachhta Hi Seva Programmes namely Regional Office Bandipora, Singhpora, Wagub, Laderwan, Kupwara, Kathua, Jakh, Arnia, Bantalab, Bhalwal, Bohri Patta, Chakroi, Deoli, Gajansoo, Gho Manhasa,Jourian, Kirpind, Pargwal, Sarore, Simble Camp, Surinsar, Dharamsal, Shahadra, Mandi and Surankote.
