| ALC stresses for registration of labourers | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Sept 19: To make the people aware about the labour laws and various schemes of Jammu and Kashmir Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (JKBOCWWB), Labour Department Ramban organized awareness camp at Sawalakote, here today.
During the camp Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC) Ramban Rakesh Arora stressed upon construction workers to avail maximum benefits from various government schemes meant for their welfare. He advised the workers to get them registered to avail the maximum benefits of the schemes being launched by the board. He said that the Labour Department and JKBOCWWB are working in tandem for the development and welfare of the labour class.
Labourers were aware about JKBOCWWB, minimum wages, child labour and contract labour besides other schemes and laws.
ALC highlighted various schemes being executed by the department and asked the labourers to avail these schemes. |
