RAMBAN, Sept 19: Two BSF personnel and a civilian driver have been killed in a road accident on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway near Rattanbass area of Banihal tehsil, district Ramban, today.
The ill-fated truck in which they were travelling was skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge near Rattanbass area four kilometer from Banihal.
The two BSF men travelling on the truck which was part of a convoy heading towards Kashmir died on spot while the civilian driver succumbed at Sub District Hospital Banihal.
The deceased were identified as head constable Atama Ram, constable Ajit Singh and Balbir Singh, driver. A case has been registered in this regard. |
