People of village dallian faces apathy of PWD, thirty thousand people suffered for 15 years

Billawar, Sept 19:- Movement of political parties has started at village Dallian, Block Lohai Malhar Panchayat Lahari right after announcement of Panchayat election but nobody bothered about 30 thousand villagers who has been suffering from unavailability of basic amenities especially bad road connectivity.
Pertinently, foundation stone of bridge on Dharkad nallha that links 15 villages to rest of the country was laid down by former MLA Billawar Dr Manohar Lal 15 years ago with an assurance to avail the bridge for public use within months. The bridge could be the backbone of the Development of area but unfortunately, the bridge faces apathy of state government that triggers sufferings for the villagers.
Ganesh Kumar, Rajinder Khajuria, Ranju Devi and many other locals pointed out the working of PWD, MLA Billawar and officials concerned who impediment in the completion of construction work, the reason best known to officials. They informed that politicians visit their areas during election and leave people on their own after won the elections. Nobody bothered the sufferings of students who walk 14 km long distance to reach at higher secondary /colleges, it's hard for patients to reach at hospitals, bad road connectivity affects transport facility resulting difficult for villagers to reach at homes in evenings. The construction work of bridge was stopped in midst, sub-standard concrete materials were used resulting the bridge is in depilated position before compilation of the construction work, they added and appealed to honorable Governor for intervening in the work to facilitate villagers who are deprived off all basic facilities due to bad road connectivity.
XEn PWD Ravinder Mansotra, the officer informed that he has been personally monitoring the hardships that would be mitigated in days to come. The officer assured to restart the work subject to availability of the apposite funds.
