Early Times Report JAMMu, Sept 19: A Science Exhibition was conducted at British International School, Sainik Colony, Jammu by the students of Classes I to VIII. The occasion was graced by eminent, Chief Guest, Ashok Kaul, and State General Secretary of BJP. Participating with great zeal and enthusiasm the students displayed their scientific temperament through various working and non-working models The application of various working models in our daily life like water purifier, lungs, windmill, solar cooker, electric circuit, 3D model of moon, volcano etc. were presented and explained in a befitting manner. Demonstrations and explanations given by the students impressed the spectators. Students benefited by sharing and exchanging their innovative ideas. Chairperson, Gita Sharma, significantly appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers. The key objective of the exhibition was to bring out the hidden talents of students and focus on creating more awareness of Science amongst them. It provided a platform for budding scientists to display and express their talent and gain confidence. Overall, it was a knowledgeable and informative day for everyone at BIS. |
