JAMMU, Sept 19: The events of Classical Vocal Solo and Semi Classical Vocal Solo were conducted today in the ongoing 'Display Your Talent 2018-19' organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu. Prof Parmeshwari Sharma (Dean Students Welfare), Dr BK Bajaj (Associate Dean SW), Dr Anil Gupta and Dr Garima Gupta (Assistant Deans SW) faculty members, teachers from colleges, students and scholars of the University of Jammu were present during the events. In Classical Vocal, Vanshika Jaral from GCW, Parade was declared first. The second position was shared by Sunil Verma from Institute of Music and Fine Arts and Shivani Mishra from The Law School. The third position was shared by Vipesh Vaid from IMFA, Shivansh from Govt MAM College and Nandani Kapoor from GCW, Parade.
In Semi Classical Vocal, Vikram from Institute of Music and Fine Arts secured the first position. Nandini Kapoor and Vanshika Jaral from GCW Parade secured second and third positions respectively. The Certificate of Merit was awarded to Bandana Devi from Institute of Music and Fine Arts. Om Parkash Thappar, Ashutosh Mangotra and Mukesh Kumar were the Judges of the event.
