Randhir Singh appeals voters to elect honest, educated candidates | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 19: Appealing the voters of Jammu city belonging to all 75 wards to elect honest and upright candidates, the state president of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Thakur Randhir Singh said those who can fight against the corrupt elements in the Jammu Municipal Corporation and who could expose those corporators, who have neglected their wards should be chosen. Singh was addressing a meeting of the NCP attended by senior party leaders. Speaking on the occasion, Randhir Singh said that the NCP has decided to put up party candidates in maximum wards out of 75 in the forthcoming Jammu Municipal Corporation's elections in Jammu city. Thakur Randhir Singh announced first candidate Balbir Singh Jamwal, general secretary state NCP, from ward number 9 Singh condemned the rule of BJP which is responsible for encouraging corrupt people and have spoiled the beauty and ecology of this city of temples. Singh exuded confident that state NCP will put up right candidates who will tirelessly fight against the corrupt mafia which has ruined the beauty and ecology of Jammu city. |
