Rajouri, Sept 21: Students under Narla Complex in Rajouri district took out a rally under Swatch Bharat Mission (SBM) to aware the people, students about the importance of cleanliness.
Narla Complex is situated in the remotest area in Rajouri district and the school under it includes higher secondary school at Narla, primary schools at Nari, Sanglote, Majra lower and middle schools at Sangard and Padder.
The students and staff members participated in the march to create awareness about cleanliness and its importance in our health and keep the environment pollution free.
"The aim behind rally was to keep the schools, surroundings and area clean, availability of pure drinking water facilities & proper toilets etc" said teacher-cum-resource person and organiser, HS Jamwal. He added the people and the students were also aware about the importance of Swatch Bharat Mission.
The rally started from Narla HSS and after passing through areas including Baba Mandir, Masjid Gali, health sub center, Panchyat Ghar and Niabat tehsil office concluded at the same school.
President Award winner and in-charge headmaster, HSS Narla Govind Sharma addressed the students and other teachers along with students took pledge to keep the compound of the school and surroundings of the locality clean.
