Harisingh Maharaja birth anniversary celebrated with gaiety at MHAC

JAMMU, Sept 21: MHAC School, Nagbani celebrated 123rd Birthday of its founder, Maharaja HariSingh with great fervor and gusto. The celebrations started with floral tribute paid to Maharaja by the Chief Guest for the day, Justice (Retd.) J.P. Singh, Manager LMC TK Ganjoo, Principal Sween Puri, LMC Members, Dr. Sukhnandan Chowdhary MLA (Marh Block), Advocate DS Chauhan, Sarpanch Shamsher Singh, Zorawar Singh General Sect. A Hawan was performed by all present on the occasion and the chanting of mantras reverberated in the air. Keeping alive the philanthropic spirit of its founder, the school invites some under privileged schools to participate in the festivities. This year too, keeping up the tradition, around 250 students along with their teachers from Ram Chander Memorial School, Batehra, Samaj Kalyan Kendra School for the Hearing Impaired and Border less World Foundation NGO were invited. The students took part in Hawan and were served snacks and lunch. The school donated a computer and stationery items to Deaf and dumb School, Shahidi Chowk where a Pressure Cooker, 20 sheets and stationery items were donated to Borderless Foundation School by the school. After Lunch, these students took great pleasure in playing many indoor & outdoor games escorted by all the sports teachers of MHAC School.
