| Bootlegger held with 16 bottles of illicit liquor | | |

Samba, Sept 21: Police arrested one bootlegger and recovered 16 bottles of illicit liquor recovered from his Possession at Supwal area of samba here today.
The bootlegger has been identified as Balwan Singh alais Bani Son of Dharm Chand resident of Barian Camp Supwal.
According to the Police sources, information against the bootlegger, a Police Party of Police Post Supwal laid a surprise naka at Barrian Camp Supwal and intercepted one person on suspicious ground. During frisking, 16 bottles of illicit liquor of 750 ml each were recovered from his possession and the accused arrested on spot with illicit liquor was seized on the spot. In this regard a case FIR No. 248/2018 U/S 48-A Excise Act has been registered in Police station Samba. |
