AAP-J&K rejects suggestions of High Level State Committee | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 16: Bitterly reacting on the media news related to the suggestions of so-called high level state committee on streamlining the functioning of 'corruption ridden revenue department', Deep Singh the founder member & national council member-AAP, termed the same as total misleading attempt against the ground realities rather insincere attitude of top bureaucrats towards the state Governor, AAP-J&K's press note revealed. Committee's view of making the Divisional Commissioners & Deputy Commissioners accountable for timely action against the erring officials under J&K civil services (Classification, control & Appeal) Rules 1956 is OK but seems again an eye wash in existing conditions while ignoring the helplessness of Div. Coms. & DCs within a system where corrupt political ruling chairs equipped with police misusing powers thrust the corrupt officials for personal gains, AAP-J&K added. As a so-called measure, Govt. circular no. 01/Rev(NG) of 2015 dated 30th. October 2015 notified Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for strict compliance but failed to take off resulting the day to day harassment of general public, AAP press note added. People of the state were again cheated in the name of 'Public Service Guarantee Act, 2011 wherein a zero outcome is observed, it added. Despite a total hue & cry among People of state, no strict implementation of SOP-2015 was/is ever observed because corrupt political/ruling class was never found serious on the issue, AAP added. |
