| Water crisis in Kishtwar, Bhandari lambasts PHE Department | | |

Jammu, Oct 16: Senior Congress leader, Member Civil Society Shamsher Singh Bhandari today lambasted PHE Department over water scarcity in Kishtwar.
Addressing a meeting he sought immediate restoration of regular supply of drinking water within the municipal limits and outside the town Kishtwar, wherein, it was observed that the PHE department has miserably failed to streamline regular supply of this basic amenity to the public. Bhandari has appealed His Excellency the Governor of J&K state that the unemployed youths of District
Kishtwar who are eagerly waiting from last so many years for their adjustment in hydro power project in District Kishtwar and have demanded that priority employment in these HE project may be given to the local unemployed youths of Kishtwar to overcome saturation of unemployment to the considerable extent.
Bhandari further has demanded that the authorities of PWD(R&B) for expediting the widening of national highway from Malipath Kishtwar to char Chinar Kuleed Chowk Kishtwar and construction of parking Zones along the said National Highway to overcome the traffic jamming to the optimum level . |
