| MV Inlt' School celebrated World Food Day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 16: MV International School organized a guest lecture on the occasion of "World Food Day".
The speaker of the lecture was dietician Gurmeet Gujral (Masters in Dietetics) and a certified food nutritionist from Jammu. She is an executive member of I.D.A (J& K Chapter) and is presently working at SDDM Hospital, Channi Himmat.
She is a recipient of Times Women Achievers Award of J & K. In her address she stressed upon the need of taking healthy diet and importance of breakfast as most crucial and important meal of the day. She also emphasised on the need of switching over to home cooked food instead of relying on junk food. Students asked their questions to the guest. Earlier Indu Kapoor, Administrator MVIS welcomed the guest and shared her views about World Food Day with students. Principal Kundan Lal Dogra presented momento the guest and thanked her for raising the insight of the students on the core issue. |
