| 2 absconders arrested | | | Early Times Report
Banihal, Oct 16: Banihal police today claimed to have arrested two absconders who were evading their arrests since last three years. Police identified the arrested absconders as Ghulam Mohd Naik and Atta Mohd both residents of Dalwas Sangaldan Tehsil Ramban.
Police said that the duo was involved in a case FIR No. 98/2015 under sections 447, 427, 504 and 506 of RPC of police station Banihal. Police said that they were evading arrest for the last three years have been arrested today. The arrest warrants were issued by JMIC Banihal and after arrest both the accused have been put behind bars and will be produced before the competent court tomorrow. It is pertinent to mention that Banihal police has arrested six absconders this month. The arrests were made by Inspector Aejaz Wani-SHO Banihal under the supervision of DySP Sajjad Sarwar-SDPO Banihal, Sanjay Parihar-Addl SP Ramban and Anita Sharma-SSP Ramban. |
