Doda, Oct 19: The district wise protest dharnas of FMPHWS' for long-pending demands, entered into 51st day, today. The main protest dharna held here at Sub Division Gandoh under the supervision of Masooda Bagum, president, FMPHWs' Welfare Association where the day started with roaring of slogans in support of their demands.
Their main demands including permanent solution of Salary DPC, Rank promotion and enhancement of pay grade, filling up of sanctioned posts. However, Dr Hannan Madni said the patients, their attendants and general public suffered a lot as the FMPHWS' association go on strike.
Speaking on the occasion president of the nursing staff, said for a long time, they had been demanding that their demands be fulfilled. Masooda President of FMPHWs' Welfare Association, in her address, appealed the higher Authorities to redress the issue of salaries of Female Multipurpose Health Workers which was due for more than a year's time and its permanent solution on war footing otherwise the protests will be exaggerated. |
