| Youth protest against DC Kathua | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Oct 19: Hundreds of youth including minors today came out on the road against District administration Kathua, alleging that administration has been compelling youth to become stone pelters.
Raj Singh lambasted the district administration and said dozens of temporary shops were forcibly dismantled in Sanji Morh tehsil Marheen Kathua.
"Administration has failed to vacate 4 hundred kanal pasture land grabbed by particular community near Marheen but forcibly pulled out innocent shopkeepers who worked for last 50 years on same place," Raj Singh said.
They sought permanent place for displaced shop-keepers to provide employment to youths.
Ganesh Kumar and Yash Paul, another victim said that the youth would divert towards anti-social activities due to unemployment. They added that the deputation called on SDM Hiranagar and DDC Kathua but no congenial action was taken to provide employment to youths. |
