GGHSS celebrates iodine control programme

Jammu, Oct 20: National Iodine deficiency Control Programme ( NIDDCP-Cell) was today celebrated at Government Girls Higher secondary School Rehari. The programme was organized under the guidance of Dr DJ Raina Nodal Officer NCD cell, Jammu (Directorate of health services) and Alka Sharma junior lab technician. They imparted handful knowledge about the disorders caused due to the deficiency of iodine among the people .They delivered very impressive and informative lecture to the students about the causes of deficiency of iodine. Students also interacted with them and learnt how to control iodine deficiency diseases. Our worthy principal Rajni kotwal thanked the team for their selfless efforts and contributions for the society.
