JAMMU, Oct 20: Around 70 Students from 3rd Prof of Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research visited Sheetli Water Purification Plant, Nagrota .
One day visit was organized by the Department of Swasthavritta under the guidance of Dr Abhishek Magotra to acquaint students with Rapid Sand Filtration Process. Students were also made aware about the Chlorination process , Filtration process . The students also got knowledge about the disinfection of water. During the visit , Dr Abhishek Magotra along with staff of Sheetli Water Purification Plant Er Ankush Gupta and Lal chand gave them lecture about the water treatment processes.
At the end of the visit Dr Abhishek Magotra thanked Mrs Suman Sharma (Chairperson), Raveesh (MD of the Trust), Dr Raghuvir Singh( Principal) , Dr Nitin Mahajan (Vice Principal) and K K Chopra (Incharge AEE) who gave them the opportunity to visit Sheetli Water Purification Plant, Nagrotra.Dr Abhishek Magotra and Dr Ashish Mahajan accompanied the students during visit. |
