Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 20: To promote the traditional folk cultural of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) concluded Navratra Festival & presented its 232nd Saturday Series Musical Play "MAA VAISHNAVI" in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production as a part of its regular feature at open air theatre Durga Bhawan, Janipur, Jammu. The function was inaugurated after lighting the Traditional Lamp by the Chief Guest Dr.Tara Singh Charak , Former Deputy Director ,Health Department ,J&K Government , Sh.V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity ,Government of India, , J.K.Raina, Freelancer Producer Director and Dr. Anju Dogra from Health Department, J&K Government , Sh.Vinod Dogra chief service engineer, exide were the Guests of Honor. The programme commenced with welcome song "Jai Jai Sheranwali" , "Mayia he mahiya meri Mahiya " , "Tum Durga Tum Laxmi Tum Hi Maa Sheranwali". Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest Lauded the role of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan -(NGO) for underlining the importance of staging such plays in all parts of the state in generating awareness among the masses about various social evils through Musical Play / Theatre / Drama which are still very powerful medium of communication. "MAA VAISHNAVI" Musical Play Written, Produced and Directed by M.L.Dogra (Chairman BLSKS) & highlighted the importance of the play , the music was assisted by M.C.Kotwal , Usha Handoo & Raju Bajgal. |
