JAMMU, Oct 30: Students of Delhi Public School, Jammu brought laurels to the school and their parents by winning gold, silver and bronze medals in Khelo India Wrestling Championship-2018 for boys and girls in U-17 category organized by J&K State Sports Council held at MA Stadium, Jammu.
The winners were Sohi Sharma (X-F) - Gold medal in 44 kgs, Iqra Malik (VII-i) - Gold medals in 55 kgs, Saima Itoo (VII-i) - Silver medal in 44 kgs, Rijul Kaul (VII-i) - Silver medal in 55 kgs,
Mrinalini Jamwal (X-F) - Bronze medal in 55 kgs, Tushar Khajuria (IX-J) - Bronze medal in 74 kgs, Jahaandeep Singh (VIII-B) - Bronze medal in 60 kgs, and Tehmour Javaid (X-C) - Bronze medal in 66 kgs.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners and their parents for the victory. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also applauded the entire team. |
