| Three drug peddlers, rape accused nabbed | | | Early Times Report
Reasi, Nov 9: Reasi police claimed to have arrested three drug peddlers in two different cases in a special drive against the drug peddlers.
Police spokesman said that a special team led by Dr Nikhil Gogna DySP Headquarters, Reasi alongwith Inspector Ashwani Sharma-SHO Reasi succeeded in apprehending three drug peddlers.
Spokesman further said that Manish alias Munna of Serward, Katra has been booked in case under FIR no. 192/2018 while Ajay Singh of Vijaypur Reasi and Anchal Singh of Bernaili, Mahore Distt. Reasi hasbeen booked in a case under FIR no. 194/2018 under section 8/22 NDPS Act and recovered contraband drug Heroin from their personal possession.
In an another raid an accused in Rape case namely Prem Singh of Gran Goswan Teh, Reasi was also arrested. The said accused was absconding since last six months after the commission of crime.
The whole operation was done under the direct supervision of Addl SP Reasi-Shiv Kumar Chouhan and Nisha Nathyal-SSP Reasi. |
