JAMMU, Nov 9: As a mark of birthday of His Holiness, Acharya Srimat Swami Pranavananda ji Maharaj, Founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangha (BSS), an idol of Kali Mata was installed at BSS, Panjgrain, Nagrota, here at a grand religious function held in Ashram premises. A Hawan was also performed on the occasion for consecration of the Maa Kali idol before their installation on the sanctum sanctorum. Speaking on the occasion, Swami Satyamitrananda, State Secretary of the Sangha said that the idol symbolize true glory of Almighty and also absolute supremacy of Maa Kali's Shakti, the destroyer of evil. After in Mata Kali Pujan, a Virat Sant Sammelen was orgniazed in the ashram in which Sants-Mahants from all over the Jammu and Kashmir State took part. They gave a sermon and a religious discourse to the hundreds of devotees coming from Jammu region at the Ashram during a Sammalen. Swami Satyamitrananda in the presence of Swami Bhaskarananada also distributed free warm cloths to the Saints. The function was followed by a community Bhoj in which a large number of devotees from all sections of society took part. The locals appreciated the gesture of the Sangha. |
