Bhaderwah, Nov 9: Prof. Anil Kumar Raina, Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Jammu today joined as Rector Bhaderwah Campus relieving Prof. GM Bhat who has served Bhaderwah Campus for five years.
As per the order issued by the Registrar, University of Jammu, Prof. Anil Kumar Raina, Department of Environmental Sciences was appointed as Rector Bhaderwah, relieving Prof. GM Bhat department of Geology from the additional charge. Prof. Raina has a vast administrative experience of more than three years as Rector Udhampur Campus besides serving in the Department of Environment Sciences as head for about eight years.
Being the reputed environmentalist of the state, Prof. Raina has a vast experience in the field of environment impact assessment, climate change, natural resource management, forest ecology, biodiversity conservation and environmental awareness.
He has also remained instrumental in getting the environmental clearance of hydro electric projects, aerial rope way projects, industrial projects and road clearance projects. |
