| Delegation of JKGPA calls on Drug Controller | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 15: A delegation of J&K Government Pharmacist Association under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan President JKGPA and Member Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) met the Drug Controller Lotika Khajuria in her office chamber and discussed the Points with the Drug Controller which were discussed in the minutes of meeting of pharmacy council of Indian which Sushil Sudan Member of PCI was also present. It was decided in the meeting of Pharmacist Council of India to take up matter of amending the Pharmacy Act 1948 again with the state of J&K and copy of Previous Communications as well as the new Reference to the ministry may be made available to Sushil Sudan Member PCI. The PCI will write to Registration of authority of the J&K State to conduct refresher course for Registered Pharmacists under the intimation to PCI Member of J&K State Sushil Sudan. The drug controller was apprised of all the correspondence made by PCI to the concerned ministry for the amendment in the J&K Pharmacy act 1948. The Drug Controller gave a patient hearing to all the points discuss in the meeting and assured the delegation that she would take up the matter with higher authorities for positive consideration of all the demands and issues. |
