| GDC Bishnah organizes extension lecture on skill development | | | JAMMU, Nov 20: The Carrier Counselling Cell of Government Degree College (GDC), Bishnah organized an extension lecture/awareness programme on "Skill Development in Electronic System Design & Manufacturing" (ESDM) today.
On the occasion, DD Dogra, Director Project along with Sarabjeet Singh and Rajinder Singh were the resource persons. They apprised the students about the various courses started by the Central as well as State Government under skill India Programme. The Principal of the College Prof Kuldeep Singh Koushal in his address talked at length about the importance of informal education in terms of technical skills/knowledge alongwith formal education and how a technical skill is proved to be an additional qualification in overall personality development of the students. Moreover, proved to be beneficial for availing various opportunities in their carrier. |
