KISHTWAR, Nov 20: To foster and reinforce the spirit of communal harmony and pride in our society, Dulhasti Power Station Kishtwar is celebrating Qaumi Ekta Week from November 19 to 25. As a part of weeklong activities, Welfare of Minority Day was observed today at Power Station under the chairmanship of Yoginder Kotha, General Manager In charge & Head of the Power Station. On this occasion, productive talks on various issues and government schemes related to the day and Qaumi Ekta Week held wherein Satywan, Diwakar Prasad Awadhiya, TSS Kumar, Vinod Parihar, P R Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Mohd Farooq and others hailing from various communities and states participated actively.
In his address the chief guest, Yoginder Kotha, emphasized on the 15 points programme of government for the welfare of minorities and appealed to the gathering for dissemination of such information and schemes to the grassroots level of the society so that the extended facilities of government are availed by the needy. |
