BJP wins 6 seats in Palmar, Trigam blocks of Kishtwar constituency | | | Asif Iqbal Naik
Early Times Report Kishtwar, Nov 20: BJP managed to win majority of seats in two blocks of Palmar and Trigam of Kishtwar Constituency that went to poll Tuesday in 2nd phase. As per the details available with Early Times, in Trigam block located on the outskirts of Kishtwar town, out of five Panchayats, the BJP backed candidates won 4 seats while NC backed candidates manage to win only one seats. As per the results declared today, Sri Lal (Trigam B), Jia Lal (Drab), Sudesh Rana (Galigad) and Sunita Devi (Trigam A) all from BJP won the Sarpanch seats while Baldev Singh (NC) managed to win from Jamwas. BJP also got majority of Panch seats from Trigam block. Similarly in Palmar block, out 4 seats of Sarpanchs , BJP won 2 seats, NC one and Independent candidate won one seat. As per the details available with Early Times, Vijay Kunar from Palmar C & Lalita Devi form Palmar A won the election on BJP backing while Mohammad Abdullah Kichloo of NC win Palmar B and Shahzada Begum (Independent) won from Patimhala. PDP though didn't manage to win any seat of Sarpanch, but the party managed to win half dozen seats of Panchs. |
