| DIET organizes play, folk song, dance competition | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 30: District Level National Role Play and Folk Song/Dance competition was organized by District Institute Of Education and Trainings (DIET) Jammu, sponsored by State Board of School Education Jammu here at Boys Higher Secondary School Bakshi Nagar Jammu in which twenty teams from different zones of the district participated.
Worthy Principal DIET Roshan Lal inaugurated the programme in which he emphasized aims and objectives of organizing such type of programs.
In Role Play Competition Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Shashtri Nagar Jammu clinched 1st position while Girls Higher Secondary School Nowabad and Higher Secondary school Ghou Manasan 2nd and 3rd respectively.
In the National Folk Song and Dance competition Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Nowabad stood 1st while Boys Higher Secondary School Nowabad and Higher Secondary School Channi Himmat 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The proceedings of the programme were carried by Tripta Maniyal H.O.D DIET.
Later the prizes among the winning teams were distributed by the Worthy Principal Sh. Roshan Lal along with Sh. O.N.Raina H.O.D and Smt. Bela Sharma Principal Boys Higher Secondary School Bakshi Nagar Jammu. |
