| Tehsildar orders inquiry into allegation made on social media | | |

Rajouri, Nov 30: Tehsildar Manjakot in Rajouri district has initiated an inquiry against an official of his office after he Was accused of demanding bribe from a local.
Sheraz Ahmed , tehsildar has directed Aftab Hussain Shah, Naib Tehsildar to conduct the inquiry and submit the report within 7 days along with specific recommendations in this matter for further action. He has also directed Naib Tehsildar to take help of the police in case the accused doesn't appear before him during inquiry.
Sources said one Shafiq Ahmed s/o Faiz Ahmed r/o Ghambhir Mughlan in Manjakot tehsil had accused Rashid (clerk) at Tehsildar office of demanding bribe from him for issuing a dependent certificate.
Taking cognizance of the allegation posted at social media network, Tehsildar, Manjakot vide his office order dated 30/11/2018 initiated inquiry. |
