Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 4: Civic Safai Karamchari Union highlighted burning demands of union and appealed Administration to release two and half days salary which is pending since April to December 2018 before 25th December on the eve of Christmas Day. Addressing media persons CSKCU President Dev Anand Gill demanded release of salaries of NGO Safaikaramcharis which is also pending for the last three months before 10th of this month besides settling pending cases under SRO 43 as early as possible. He appealed Administration for time to time disbursement of two and half day's salary and release of NGOs monthly salary every month on proper fixed date.Gill warned Administration if the salaries were not released before 10th of this month, safaikaramcharis will be forced to organize mass agitation for which administration will be held responsible. He expressed resentment that those who are playing vital role in cleaning Municipal areas neat and clean to allow residents to breathe in clean air and also to keep them fit and healthy are not even paid their meagre salaries monthly. He made it clear that if safaikaramcharis denied their salaries before 10th of this month and if their Christmas celebrations were marred by non release of salaries, administration will have to pay heavy cost for this. He appealed Administra-tion not to force them to take any extreme step and kindly release their salaries before 10th of this month so that they may celebrate Christmas with joy.
