Jammu, Dec 13: Brig Narendra Kotwal, VSM, Commandant, Armed Forces Clinic, New Delhi and an eminent Endocrinologist visited SMVD Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Kakryal today. He was briefed by Brig. Harjai, Chief Administrative Officer & Dr. Ahuja, Medical Superintendent about the various facilities available at SMVDNSH under one roof. Appreciating its infrastructure and dedicated team of doctors, Brig Kotwal stated that SMVDNSH is one-of-the best Hospital of the region. Later, Brig Kotwal delivered a lecture regarding life style diseases and emphasized the importance of including physical exercise in one's daily routine to prevent most diseases associated with a sedentary life style. While interacting with the consultants and patients, Dr. Kotwal shared his vast experience and gave valuable advise relating to management of Diabetes. Earlier, as part of his welcome address, Brig. Harjai informed that Brig Kotwal is a son of soil who is not only decorated with prestigious Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) for distinguished services in the Armed Forces but is also serving as honorary physician to the Hon'ble Presidentof India. |
