Jammu, Dec 13: Motor Parts Dealers Association (MPDA) has called on Governor to improve facilities at Transport Nagar/Narwal Jammu. "Our Transport Nagar established in 1990 and developed by JDA but nothing has been done after the establishment niether by JMC regarding the cleanness of blocked drains & black topping of roads and lanes of all seven yards. Transport Nagar fully functional and completely encroached by Road sides Work Shops, Illegal kisko, Scrap Dealers & unauthorized illegal parking of Junked Trucks, Buses, oil tankers and cars without their engine , Tyre & with out Road tax documents", the Association members said. They further said that JDA issued warning to the encroachers but all in vain. They appealed to launch regular anti encroachment drives with joint operation of three agencies (traffic police, JDA & JMC ) in all seven yards of Transport Nagar Jammu. Rajinder Kakkar President MPDA, Sanjay Dogra, General Secy, S.S.Bhau, S. B.S.Sethi , M.P.Singh, Raman Gupta and S.P. Gupta were among the members who attended the meeting. |
